Terms and Conditions of Probation (British Columbia)

2001, you must keep the peace and be of good behaviour. You must appear before the court when required to do so by the court. You must notify the court or your probation officer in advance of any change of name or address and promptly notify the court or the officer of any change of employment or occupation.

2002, you must have no contact or communication directly or indirectly with [names], unless allowed for by your probation officer and only for the purposes of participating in a restorative justice process.

2003 - You must not distribute, publish, post, or make publicly available in any way information, including comments and images, which refer to or depict [victim].

2005-1 - You must not go to or be within 100 metres of any place where [victim] lives, works, attends school, worships, or happens to be. If you see [victim], you must leave her presence immediately without any words or gestures.

2101, you must report in person to a probation officer at [locatoin], B.C., by 0:00 a.m./p.m. tomorrow and, after that, you must report as directed by your probation officer.

2202, when first reporting to a probation officer, you must provide them with the address or location where you live and regularly sleep and your phone number if you have one. You must not change them without notifying your probation officer at least two days before making the change.

2104, you must report in person to a probation officer at the [location] Corrections Office - the address and telephone number of which will be placed into the probation order for you - within two business days after your release from custody unless you have obtained, before that release from custody, written permission from a probation officer to report elsewhere or within a different timeframe. After that, you must report as directed by your probation officer.

2106, your reporting ends when you have satisfied your probation officer that you have completed all your community work service.

2202, when first reporting to a probation officer, you must provide them with the address or location where you live and regularly sleep and your phone number if you have one. You must not change them without notifying your probation officer in advance.

2304 - You must not have any contact or communication, directly or indirectly, with, or be in the presence of, any person under the age of 16 years of age, unless (a) you are in the immediate physical presence of a person 19 years of age or older, who is aware of your criminal record and has read this probation order, or (b) with a written Ministry of Children and Family Development safety plan in place, and then only in compliance with the safety plan.

2306 - You must not enter into or continue any dating relationship, common-law relationship, or marriage with any person who has children under the age of 16 or who has the care of or access to children under the age of 16. The exception is as follows: You have identified to your probation officer the person with whom you are in, or propose to enter, a relationship and your probation officer has informed that person of this probation order and your criminal record.

2501, you must attend, participate in, and complete any intake, assessment, counselling, or education program as directed by your probation officer. This may include counselling or programming for mental health and trauma recovery.

2502 - You must attend, participate in and complete any intake, assessment, program, treatment, or a full-time live-in treatment program as directed by your probation officer. This may include programming or treatment for:

a. Alcohol or substance use.

b. Psychiatric and psychological health.

c. Sexual offence treatment, including individual treatment and participation in the Forensic Sexual Offence Program operated by Community Corrections.

2509, you must complete [1 to 260] hours of community work under the direction of your probation officer. Your community work service must be completed by no later than [date]/ Your community work service must be completed within the first X days/months of your probation.
